THE GARMENTS
Cotton. Heavyweight. Cut to last.
Every Field Line piece is pressed in Lisbon. DTF transfer on quality blanks — the kind of weight that doesn't collapse after a season. The text is part of the structure. Treat it accordingly.
Washing Cold wash. Inside out. Always. Tumble dry on low or hang flat. High heat degrades the transfer over time — fine edges go first. Do not iron directly over the print. A cloth between iron and transfer if pressing is necessary.
Wearing The weight settles with wear. That is not a flaw. Stone-wash, fade, and softening over time are not deterioration — they are the garment becoming yours.
THE FRAME SUNGLASSES
Frames from recycled materials. Built for use, not display.
Cleaning Lens cloth or soft cotton only. No paper, no clothing fabric — both introduce micro-scratches over time. Rinse under lukewarm water before wiping if there is debris on the lens. Do not use solvents, alcohol-based cleaners, or household glass spray.
Storage Case when not in use. Frames left open and unprotected will flex at the hinges over time. Keep away from prolonged direct heat — dashboards, windowsills. Recycled frame materials are stable, but sustained heat distorts the geometry.
The lens The clarity is the point. If the lens picks up surface marks, clean before the next wear rather than after — dried residue is harder to shift without pressure.
A NOTE ON BOTH
These are not items designed to be preserved in a drawer. Wear them. Let them take the shape of use. The only care instruction that matters: treat them as something worth keeping.
